The Honourable Kamal Khera is a nationally recognized leader in public policy, health systems, and organizational leadership, with over a decade of public service. She held senior Cabinet roles, including Minister of Health, Minister of Seniors, and Minister of Diversity, Inclusion and Persons with Disabilities, leading major national initiatives and shaping policies that impact millions of Canadians.Earlier, The Honourable Kamal Khera also served as Parliamentary Secretary to major portfolios, including Health, International Development, and National Revenue, working on initiatives in global health, equity, and public service delivery.Before entering public office, Khera worked as a registered nurse in oncology and palliative care.
